Are you brand new or have just tried the 'PF-Tek' style? Want to step it up for an even larger mushroom yield? Then our Cylocybe Special Grow Kits are most definitely for you. You won't find kits like this anywhere else.

Using similar techniques to the advanced cultivators in the scene, we have managed to create a range of easy kits which have fewer steps, support even more mushroom species and most importantly - bigger flushes!.. This is why we call these kits special.

Cylocybe Special MycoPots³ Grow Kit

Our carefully pH balanced mix of grain, coffee, coir and gypsum packs a nutrient punch for many species of mushrooms.

3 x 280ml MycoPots for a large flush and speedy colonisation time.

Simply inject 1ml of gourmet mushroom liquid culture into each of the three MycoPots and wait for the full colonisation of mycelium to take hold. Then simply take off the lid and place within your grow tents (or all together in the XXL Grow Tent) to fruit beautiful mushrooms...

What's included

  • Organic Rye Grain Substrate with added Coir, Gypsum and Coffee
  • 3 x Injection Port and HEPA-Filtered containers for ultimate contamination resistance
  • 3 x HEPA-Filtered Grow Tents to fruit each MycoPot on its own, plus 1 x XXL Grow Tent to fruit them all together
  • Hygiene Kit: face mask, 2 x hand wipes, 3 x 70% IPA / 2% Chlorhexidine wipes and 3 x spare sterile needles (one of each for every MycoPot), plus sterile gloves (tell us your size at checkout)
  • Perlite to create high humidity

The container

ContainerSAC O2 Microbox O95/60, from Belgium
Size280 ml. Lid 90 mm across, base 80 mm, 60 mm tall.
MaterialClear, tough polypropylene, so you can watch the mycelium grow. The lid seals airtight.
FilterWhite #10 filter in the lid: the lowest of SAC O2's three air-exchange grades, made for long incubation.
How the filter worksRandomly arranged fibres, working on the HEPA principle, trap mould spores, mites and thrips while air passes through.
HeatCan be autoclaved at up to 123 °C.
AfterwardsBox and lid are 100% recyclable.

Advice

Can take 2-4 weeks at optimum conditions (but can sometimes take longer) to fully colonise. Does not come supplied with a gourmet spore or culture syringe. Some wood-loving species like Lion's Mane and Oyster will fruit on this substrate.
